Lego space

I had a bunch of these sets from the first space series made in 1978 and 1979. Probably my favorite toys as a kid.

Playmobil Space

The German toy company Playmobil made a line of figures and vehicles about space exploration. I had a few. They kept trying to take over my Danish-made Lego space toys and subjugate my Lego space characters, so I sent in my GI Joes to restore order. Bad Germans.

ReBoot

Reboot was a Canadian TV show that ran during the Saturday morning cartoons in the US starting in 1994. It was the first totally-CG TV show.

UFO

I didn't actually know about this show until a few years ago, but if I did when I was a kid I would've loved it. Ahhh, Lt. Ellis and all the other mod babes on the show.

Good Old-Fashioned Cold War Armageddon

Ah, the Cold War. What warm and fond memories of worrying about global destruction and nuclear winter. Yes, this was the nightmarish future that scared all of us kids growing up in the second half of the 20th century.
